Child Care and Education


Children's Sunday Schools
Sunday Schools for pre-school through high school is Sunday, September 7 through Sunday, June 20 from 9:15-10:00 a.m. in the Mosaic Building. This year's pre-school and elementary curriculum is based on the Shorter Catechism. Lessons use crafts, music, and games to teach doctrine foundational to the Christian faith. The catechism is presented in the form of memorization questions and answers that pre-schoolers can grasp. The youth, ages 13-18, are studying the DVD series TrueU, Does God Exist? In this series Dr. Stephen Meyer, of Discovery Institute in Seattle, leads an exciting series of lessons to help them solidify their Christian faith with foundational apologetics training. Nursery
A well-staffed nursery is available for children (infants through 4 years) during worship service. The nursery opens at 9:15am during the Sunday School term and 9:45am in the summer and remains open through the end of the worship service. All children, however, are welcome to remain with their parents and guardians during the service.


Gospel Interaction
Gospel Interaction is an elementary-level children's lesson held during the Sunday morning sermon. Children ages 3 and up may participate at the discretion of parents or guardians. Kids are dismissed from the service and return before Holy Communion.


Youth Ministry (Ages 13 and up)
Teens are invited to Sunday evening gatherings. Call the church office 982-8817 for more info. Teens 13-19 are encouraged to participate
